Who We Are

History and Background
Data Management was incorporated in 1961 in Washington DC. The original focus of DMI was the building and maintenance of residential mailing lists along with lettershop services. Since 1961, DMI has assisted clients in consolidating their marketing programs efficiently and cost-effectively. We now provide total solutions for analysis and modeling, CRM, data enrichment, and hosted Database Management. In addition, we offer services ranging from programming to the development and maintenance of complex database programs. Clients we serve range from financial institutions to catalogs but our main focus is servicing the non-profit community.
DMI has the latest on-line cloud based interactive technology supported by extensive security measures throughout our facility. Other companies offer full service production and we have considered providing that as well. However, we are of the opinion that by concentrating on data management, our overall service will be of higher quality and more value to our clients. Located in Stoneville, NC our data processing facility is 25 miles from Greensboro. Because of FTP and e-mail transmission, data is immediately available for production anywhere in the country.
Areas of Specialization
DMI assists clients in all channels. We continue to develop and create specialized mailing lists used by organizations for direct mail and advertising.  Our cloud-based solution allows your organization to leverage data from your website into one Database. We offer a totally connected multi-channel CRM solution. All efforts integrate seamlessly allowing multiple staffers to access and enter important information anywhere. Our analytics lets you look at all giving behaviors and trends from your constituents. One name that is all connected and reportable in one system.
We utilize IBM iSeries as our system platform, formerly known as AS/400. The database is integrated DB2 relational database with SQL compatibility. Our software is developed in-house and utilizes Apache server for web services. Internally, we use a 100MB Ethernet switched network.
